Mentorship Program

The Paradise Symphony Orchestra is proud to continue the tradition of mentorship, where experienced musicians guide, support, and inspire new players. Many of our members remember the encouragement of older orchestra colleagues who helped shape their early years as performers. Through mentorship, we pass along knowledge of repertoire, technique, and rehearsal etiquette while fostering a strong sense of community within the orchestra.

Current Opportunity: String Players

We are currently accepting applications for mentorship in our string sections. This program is open to musicians of all ages—students eager to learn, as well as adults who may be returning to playing after time away.

Once accepted, each participant is paired with a qualified mentor under the supervision of the section Principal. Mentors provide guidance during rehearsals and concerts, offering support with bowings, dynamics, fingerings, and other technical challenges. All mentorship takes place within regular rehearsals and scheduled performances.

If you are interested in applying, please contact us for more information.
